Cold Plates – Are established cooling options in power applications like RF transmitters and IGBT power amplifiers. The technology is moving into other applications and microprocessor electronics. A cold plate employs a circulating fluid that carries heat away from the heat-generating devices. Mezzo cold plates utilize micro-channels, which increase the performance of the cold plate as well as reduce the overall size and weight of the cold plates. |
